Follow the road leading out of the airport. Keep on the left hand side of the road. You will come to the roundabout and follow around to the right entering Queen’s Highway towards George Town. The Sandbar is 6 km on the left hand side of the road.

There is a large empty lot across the street from the entrance. We own this lot as well and it can provide you additional parking if necessary.

Google Maps says The Sandbar is only 6 minutes from the airport but

it always takes a little longer.

The breathtaking views are bound to slow you down.
