First and foremost, Heather is as wonderful as all of the reviews mention. She is a wonderful communicator, answering every question - big or small. The welcome packet is very informative and helpful. The House. Wow. Every inch of this beautiful home is tastefully decorated, and we immediately felt at home. As soon as you walk through the front door the view captivates you. The kitchen has every gadget you might need to whip up a simple breakfast or a gourmet meal. The laundry room is one of my dreams! Back to the view. Your eyes will experience every color of blue. The infinity pool is a dream and the ocean is just a few steps away. We had Desereen stock the refrigerator upon arrival, which was helpful when traveling with kids - 14, 10, 9 and 6. We used Gully’s services for airport pick-up & drop-off, grocery trips, golf, and up to Barreterre for our boat tour. He is amazing. We can’t wait to return to The Sandbar House! Thank you, Heather!

The Sandbar is a stunning property, every detail is well thought out! The pool, amazing view, beautiful beach, comfortable main and guest house, location and the most helpful host made our vacation perfect. Heather went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and gave great guidance , allowing us to relax and create wonderful memories during our stay. There is not one thing I would change other than wishing I was returning tomorrow! Thank you to Heather, her wonderful team and a very big thank you to Gully! We can't wait to visit again!

From the moment you walk into The Sandbar, you know that you have found paradise. The house is beautifully kept, clean, and efficient. Heather is very responsive and has wonderful suggestions to help navigate the island. I am confident to say that this is the BEST place to vacation. We have been to the Caribbean every year since the 90s and to Great Exuma three times. We have never stayed at a more perfect rental house than The Sandbar! The photos and the description on VRBO were stunning but they do not do it justice! ... Despite being a relatively new rental, the house is extremely well-equipped... with all the necessities and some real nice personal decorative touches. The outdoor seating area and pool are expertly laid out for comfort and functionality with multiple places to chill in the shade or sun. The views from inside the house and from the huge deck are mesmerizing! The property owner, Heather, is the best communicator (6 STARS!) that we have experienced while renting Caribbean properties! ... She has a wonderful support team on site. Property manager, Spence was pleasant and efficient and took care of all our requests without hesitation. ... We had a most enjoyable, relaxing stay at The Sandbar and we would highly recommend it for groups of all sizes! Our ten day stay was an experience that we will remember forever!
