Independence Day in Exuma

Happy Independence Day!

A celebration of freedom, July 10, 1973, marks the date the Bahamas officially became a nation. They became a free and sovereign country, ending 325 years of British rule.

The ‘vintage poster’ was painted for us. It celebrates our love of Bahamas and the people. It hangs in our beach house, The Sandbar.
